E-commerce training in Tunisia: a 30-day learning and practice plan

Turn learning into a customer study, margin calculation, product page and test order. This practical month ends each week with evidence and a decision, helping beginners distinguish useful progress from simply watching more course videos.

E-commerce training in Tunisia: a 30-day learning and practice plan

Useful training leaves evidence: a cost calculation, an understandable photograph, an order arriving in management, or a documented decision against unsuitable stock. This programme organises thirty days of practice through short daily sessions and a longer weekly review. It does not promise sales or completion of business formalities within a month. Some paperwork, approvals and suppliers need longer. The goal is to distinguish what you can do from what still prevents you from selling responsibly.

Before starting: define evidence of progress

Answer without opening a video: who buys, why do they buy, and how do an order, a delivery and collected money differ? How would you handle an item returned after use? Record uncertain answers in a learning notebook. Prepare four folders: customer understanding, product costs, experiments and operating procedures. Date changes so that later you can reconstruct a decision. Learn terminology when a task requires it, rather than treating advertising acronyms as permission to begin practical work.

Fit the programme around the time you actually have. For a thirty-minute session, allow ten minutes to understand and twenty to apply. If a task depends on an accountant or supplier answering, record the dependency and move to independent work. Waiting is not failure, but a calendar is not a reason to ignore an unresolved safety or supply question. A postponed launch can be the correct outcome of careful learning.

Days 1–7: understand demand and calculate before buying

Spend the first two days asking three people about a comparable purchase they really made: where they found it, what bothered them and why they hesitated. Listen before presenting your idea. On day three, compare two alternatives available to the customer. Examine a sample on day four and calculate its landed stock cost on day five. List remaining questions about warranty, compatibility, dimensions and supplier documents on day six. On day seven, explain both the product and its limitations to someone else.

Consider a fictional desk organiser costing 18 TND plus 2 TND per unit in inbound transport, making its stock cost 20 TND. Selling at 39 TND with 1 TND packaging and 4 TND delivery contribution leaves 14 TND before advertising, returns and other expenses. That is neither net profit nor a market quotation. It is an early warning that spending 18 TND to acquire a delivered order would exceed this allowance. Your weekly deliverable is a calculation in which you can explain every input.

Days 8–14: build an experience that can be tested

Photograph useful sides and actual use, including a real measurement. Write a title customers understand and a description answering questions about contents, compatibility and limitations. Prepare clear delivery and exchange information, distinguishing estimates from confirmed commitments. Open the page on an ordinary phone, check options, quantity and total, and submit an order using your own contact details. Handle it as a test so that it does not become misleading sales evidence.

You can use Matjri to build a small catalogue and practise order management. Success means more than an attractive dashboard: did the correct option arrive, were delivery charges visible, and does the packer know what to prepare? When requesting help, keep a screenshot and exact reproduction steps. Learning to describe a fault clearly is part of running the business, not an administrative distraction from selling.

Days 15–21: ask one communication question

Choose one concrete question, such as whether a dimensions photograph reduces questions about size. Share a clear offer and record the questions it generates. Avoid changing price, pictures, audience and confirmation procedure together because you could not explain the outcome. Limited organic reach can teach order reading and mobile testing. Advertising is optional at this stage. If you use it, decide an affordable maximum loss and a stopping rule before switching it on.

Count enquiries, orders, confirmations and deliveries separately. An exercise with eight orders, five confirmations and three deliveries does not demonstrate eight completed sales. Do not compare a source still containing enquiries against another whose payments have already arrived. A consistent manual spreadsheet is adequate initially. More tools cannot compensate for having no stable definition of the result you are trying to observe.

Days 22–30: make the work repeatable

Follow an entire order through reference checking, inspection, packaging, collection amount and courier handover. Write down the response to an incomplete address, a missing item and an unanswered call. Reserve one session for comparing expected and collected amounts and another for a physical stock count. You do not need dozens of orders to discover ambiguous colour labels or missing expense evidence. These small failures are useful teaching material when recorded and corrected.

Choose training without collecting income promises

Request a complete example with assumptions, costs and outcomes rather than a revenue screenshot. Ask whether practical assignments receive feedback and whether failures and country differences are discussed. Separate operational teaching from legal advice. Consult RNE formalities when preparing business documents and the Ministry of Commerce consumer information guidance when preparing selling information. A training certificate is not a substitute for checking your own situation.

Three questions before finishing

Must I learn advertising before opening?

Understand the product, cost and order journey first. Advertising distributes the experience already present; it does not repair incomplete information or unreliable supply. You can learn its principles without spending during this stage.

What if no sales arrive within thirty days?

Check what was actually tested. Without suitable visitors, demand was not tested. If customers requested the product but you could not supply it, the problem is operational. Avoiding a poor supplier purchase through documented analysis is valuable learning too.

When should I pay for a course?

When you can identify a specific gap, an expected practical outcome and verifiable support. Do not buy an income promise. Your next action is to choose one first-week task and name the document or decision that will prove completion.
